A light breakfast and lunch buffets are provided Monday through Friday. Additionally, for the Southwest Leadership Program pizza on the patio on Wednesday evening comes with a beverage (alcohol or non-alcohol) for each participant.
Participants with dietary requirements should make sure that they complete this area on the registration form. We are happy to make any adjustments as long as we know prior to the program start.
We want everyone to be comfortable so participants may wear casual attire Monday, through Thursday. Friday is our graduation day, when supervisors/managers can attend the graduation lunch, so we ask that participants wear business attire on that day.
For the Southwest Leadership Program, Tuesday is the day for leadership teamwork and this is held in the morning outside on the grass. We do have a large tent for shade and plenty of water, but participants need to wear flat shoes and dress for being outside (shorts, sandals, flip flops, tennis shoes, hats and sunglasses). Participants may also want to bring a change of clothing to change into for the afternoon session, which is indoors. This is by no means an energetic portion of the class. It’s about leading teams and communication.
We will do our best to accommodate the special needs of our participants including mobility, vision, hearing, other physical impairments, health conditions or learning disabilities. Please contact the program manager for any special assistance needed.
Unless you are a staying at the hotel you cannot use the gym/sauna etc. The hotel allows the program participants to use the restrooms in the locker rooms, but only hotel guests have the privilege of using the other facilities in the hotel.
